Our Story
Since 2014, the heart of Animal Care and Rescue Thailand has beaten alongside the fragile lives of stray dogs and cats who have no one to turn to. What began as a simple wish—to help as many animals as possible—has grown into a lifelong mission. We help in every way we can: medical care, food, shelter, and sometimes simply being there when an animal needs comfort the most. Over the years, we have rescued and cared for countless animals. Some survived, some did not—but every single life has left a permanent mark on our hearts.
Before the foundation existed, the founder was simply an animal lover who cared deeply for dogs. At one time, they raised 12 Bangkaew dogs in an open environment, believing that freedom and love were the greatest gifts an animal could receive. Tragically, several of them were poisoned and lost their lives. The pain was unbearable—not just the loss of pets, but the loss of innocent lives taken by cruelty. That moment changed everything and left one painful question behind: How many more animals must suffer before something truly changes?
From heartbreak came purpose. Animal Care and Rescue Thailand was founded to protect vulnerable animals and give them a second chance at life. We exist to ensure that abandoned dogs and cats are safe, cared for, and loved as they deserve to be. We may not be able to save every life, but we promise this—we will never look away. Because every life matters, and no animal should ever be left to suffer alone. 🐾

Located in the scenic hills of Phuket, our facility provides a safe haven for animals in need. We feature:

- Quarantine facilities for new arrivals
